On a sunny day Nero burnt Rome...
His mother Agrippina, was exiled by her brother emperor Caligula.
Her uncle Claudius brought her back, after he took hold of the empire and married her.
Agrippina poisoned Claudius and Nero became the emperor at age of 16.
Nero few years later murdered his mother.
He wanted to destroy huge parts of Rome, so he would be able to build his dream palaces.
When the Senate rejected his plans... He burnt down most of Rome.
Well, how this reminds me of the present days.
How many Nero(s) we see today, and how many Rome(s)
And how many different history books we read every day.
How many other forms of Nero have been evolved; Rulers, Leaders of Opposition Parties, Resistance Movements etc... All willing to burn half of the planet so they can feel secured.
How many countries and states are burnt today like Rome... By Nero(s)
Perhaps for different reasons....but same disaster.
Since this life began on earth, every now and then there were different Nero(s).
Most of them burnt countries for reasons of power and religion.
Recently, they all live in the same time....
What is ironic that all Nero(s) of these days; call them the contradicted powers, are united to destroy and burn places cities, countries..
Each Nero for its own devilish reasons and desires.
Why (Rome) has to be burnt continuously without any serious attempts to extinguish the fires?
Why (Nero) has to keep the fires on, no matter how long it takes, how many places it wipes out and how many lives it kills.
What is the value of human life?
What is the extent of its cost?
Who buys and sells human lives?
What is the price of people?
Who have those trading rights?
What is the real price of peace in local and international markets?
Do they have the real knowledge that enable them evaluate Lands and People?
When they decide to sell Lands and People, to whom and why?
When Nations would decide to wake up and decide to turn all tables upside down and take their matters in their own hands?
Will there be a time when we can see Nero(s) vanish and Rome(s) flourish?
Who can answer these question?
